This is a special day for lesbians & their friends so please come along and meet, mingle and celebrate with a wonderful group of women!
The celebration begins at 12noon with our Lesbian Expo which will be open all day to showcase lesbian artists, businesses, products, groups, events & more.
At 12.45pm our live entertainment will begin with Sam Crane & Dani Girl who will perform a mix of covers and orignals for us. Sam's pure, heart-felt emotion captivates audiences wherever she performs.
At 1pm our delicious bbq lunch will be served on South's beautiful & large outdoor deck. Sam Crane & Dani Girl will continue to entertain us plus we'll have great lucky door prizes and a special performance by the Tap Cats.
At 1.45pm we'll head down to the oval for a game of cricket / touch football and giant twister! You don't need any experience to have fun with these games. Remember to bring your hat and sunblock.
At 2.30pm we'll move back inside to be entertained by talented lesbian performer Davina Jones.
Throughout the day also enjoy well known tunes with DJ Stef, pool tables, jukebox, and of course hundreds of lesbians!
South Leagues Club is the perfect venue for our International Lesbian Day Celebration with 4 great spaces for us to enjoy - upstairs bar & live entertainment, downstairs bar & lesbian expo, beautiful & large outdoor deck, and well maintained sporting field.
This day is widely celebrated by lesbians and supporting groups and is open to to your friends and children. Lesbian friendly men are very welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult.
This will be a wonderful lesbian celebration and community event brough to you by City Lickers, Club Phoenix, OWLS, Feathers, Dykes on Bikes, Woman2Woman Sunshine Coast & QAHC.

Lesbian Expo
This is our second annual Lesbian Expo and a great opportunity to showcase your business/group, event or talent. We welcome and encourage all lesbian businesses to be involved.
Our expo will be open from 12-4pm and showcase lesbian artists, businesses, products, groups, events & more.
There are 3 exhibition options available to you:
- Add your marketing material to the main community table.
Cost is $10 and restrictions in space apply. - Take a half tressel table.
Cost is $50 and we will do our best to team you with a complimentary business/group.
Includes 1 x International Lesbian Day Celebration ticket. - Take a full tressel table.
Cost is $100 and preferential positioning applies.
Includes 2 x International Lesbian Day Celebration tickets.
Out of courtesy to other businesses this is the preferred option for businesses wishing to sell on the day.
For artists/businesses not needing a table, cost will be based on similar display area.

The origin of International Lesbian Day in Australia remains a mystery but the day is widely celebrated by lesbians and supporting groups throughout the country on 8th October.
